Brian (London comedy circuit legend Brian Damage) is infamously grumpy and dry: Krysstal (aka actor Vicky de Lacy) tries her best to be glamorous but is ditsy to distraction. They both play a variety of musical instruments, which are not always musical in their hands, and look forward to winning over Adelaide audiences ... and visiting their relatives! ‘As daft and charming as they are funny’ Stage UK. ‘Always enjoyable…. MELINDA BUTTLE (Bris) : Sista Got Flow One of the brightest new talents on the national stand-up scene, You might have already met Mel in passing on The 7pm Project (Network Ten), at the Josh Thomas Variety Hour, or on ABC 612 with Richard Fidler. But it would be nice to say hello properly at her first ever-solo show. Possibly Australia’s only juvenile delinquent-teaching, rap-battling, Twitterific gourmand to ever don a vintage frock on the comedy stage, to say that Mel is a hilarious bundle of contradictions is an understatement. And not to get too Susan Boyle on you, she has, um, never been kissed. Emerging from in the Melbourne Comedy Festival’s Raw Comedy competition as Queensland’s national finalist in 2008, Mel is now a familiar face on the robust Brisbane comedy circuit, and making waves on the Melbourne and Sydney scene to boot. |

LOU SANZ (Melb) : Please Don’t Use My Flannel For That Written & Performed by Lou Sanz. When Lou first moved out of home she wound up living on a piece of floor in suburban LA with a real life cowboy for a potential pimp and landlord. Her attempts to take control of her life landed her living with a heroin addict, a guy who didn’t believe in pants, a gun enthusiast and everyone else your mother always dreamed of. Listen, I’m sure things got better... |

The SKIRT NETWORK (Melb): Skirting Around Listen, we know that not every funny woman wears skirts, we get that, so you can stop with your whole pants are the best rhetoric – we’re not here to debate whether pants or skirts are better, because that’s the sort of argument that needs to take place in a well structured and supervised environment, so lets just end it there and agree to disagree – skirts rule! |
